The RJR 94.5 programme “Hotline” with host Dr. Orville Taylor was also on spot to share the day with the radio audience. Ms Nicole Brown, AGM Enterprise Information Management, National Commercial Bank spoke about the bank’s policies as it related to consumers who utilise its services and the need for responsibility in the digital age.
The Consumer Affairs Commission (CAC) is a government agency under the Ministry of Industry, Investment and Commerce, whose role is to enforce the Consumer Protection Act 2005 (Amended 2012) and a range of additional legislation, promoting competition and fair trading, for the benefit of all Jamaicans.
The Commission has a chair and ten Commissioners, who are appointed by the Ministry of Industry, Investment and Commerce for terms of up to two years.
